A new collection, a few unexpected inspirations, and a reminder that design doesn’t have to be louder to matter. This is where softness, intention, and a little chaos meet.
There’s a certain kind of mood I keep coming back to lately
not loud, not overly polished, not trying too hard
just… intentional
I’ve been working on a new collection of art and objects
totes, prints, candles, pieces you actually live with
things that feel like extensions of your inner monologue
a little funny, a little dramatic, a little too honest
very pretty serious
At the same time, I saw The AI Doc in theaters
and it made me think about how quickly everything is moving
how easy it is now to generate, produce, optimize
and how different that feels from something made slowly
on purpose
It reminded me of something I hadn’t thought about in years
I went to the shaker museum when I was little
and I still remember how it felt
quiet
intentional
everything exactly as it needed to be
they invented things we still use every day
flat brooms, clothespins, ladder-back chairs
but more than that, they created a design language
one rooted in simplicity and belief
nothing extra
nothing wasted
just meaning
And I think that’s the tension I’m designing inside of now
between speed and slowness
technology and touch
systems and soul
because I love both
I love Figma
I love building systems
I love digital design and everything it allows
but I also love objects that feel like something
things that carry personality, imperfection, authorship
This collection lives right in that in-between
it’s soft and pink and a little chaotic
quotes, fashion illustration, sassy energy
but underneath it
there’s intention
a point of view
something human
Because I don’t think the future of design is about choosing sides
I think it’s about choosing meaning
what do you want your work to feel like
what do you want people to feel when they interact with it
for me
less noise
more meaning
but still… make it cute ♡
