Life Lately, Softness, and Why I Made This Collection
Life lately has been a mix of quiet days, creative spirals, and finding inspiration in unexpected places. Long Island pretending to be Spain, sun hitting old architecture just right, and moments that make you slow down and actually see things. Those moments have been fueling a lot of what I’ve been making lately.
That’s where Hearts in Bloom came from.
This collection started as an idea I kept coming back to. Hearts, florals, repeating shapes, gentle color stories. I found myself sketching the same motifs over and over, not because I was trying to perfect them but because the repetition felt comforting. There’s something about pattern‑making that quiets my brain. It’s romantic, a little nostalgic, and very much about letting softness exist without needing a reason.
Hearts in Bloom is a series of original art pieces built around that feeling. Romance without being precious. Structure without being rigid. Patterns that feel calm, joyful, and intentional. I wanted this collection to feel like a pause. Something you can come back to, sit with, and enjoy simply because it’s beautiful.
Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about why I make art at all. The honest answer is that life can feel loud, fast, and overwhelming, and creating gives me a way to slow everything down. Repeating shapes. Thoughtful colors. Letting ideas unfold instead of rushing them. This collection is a reflection of that mindset.
I also want to say thank you. Last week’s support truly meant everything to me. Every order, message, and share helps me continue building this small creative world and creating work that feels authentic to where I’m at right now. I don’t take that lightly.
If you want to see more behind‑the‑scenes moments, process videos, pattern experiments, and everyday studio life, you can follow along on social. I share more there and it’s where most of the art girl chaos happens.
Thank you for being here, for supporting my work, and for loving Hearts in Bloom as much as I do.
With so much gratitude,
Schirin ❤️
